Do you know anyone in your circle of friends that is a planner? We are talking, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Flyers, Timelines the works? Well…that’s us!

Travel ComPLANion was an idea that has been in the works for a long time. It was in the back of my brain, rattling around waiting to be brought to the interwebs. I cannot take credit for the creation of the name, that was coined by a friend of mine after weeks of creating names that had unavailable domains.

So, what exactly is Travel ComPLANion?
The idea is that this can become a resource for the planning aspect of travel. The sometimes tedious, overwhelming, detail oriented side of fun.

You see, I enjoy creating itineraries, researching tour companies, investigating restaurants, communicating with vendors in foreign places, to name a few. This isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, and that is totally ok!
This will be a place where you can find documents to help keep you on track with your planning, build a concise itinerary, fill in the blanks of things you may not have thought about.

I want this to be a collaborative environment where people can share their best practices when it comes to staying organized during travel. It makes your adventures so much more exciting when you have crossed your T’s and dotted your I’s.

So, who are we?
We are a couple in our 30’s  who spend all of our vacation days . We will spend more time traveling as time goes on and I will share how you can also take part in regular travel, the planning that goes into making that your reality. We are constantly asked, “How can you travel so much”. The truth is, anyone can travel a lot, it is just changing your priority.

We live and breathe the world of vacation rentals and plan to VLOG about that investment strategy as well.
